Bling Sparkle Shimmer = Ipod DIY

Well as I’ve mentioned before I am now a complete Decoden addict sooo many boring things that I can make pretty like my boring old Ipod I think its a 2nd generation or something I’ve had it since college anyway, I don’t use very often usually when i go on holiday and occasionally at the gym (when i can be bothered to go) but I recently bought some cheap rhinestones and decided it would be a perfect canvas for practising my DIY skills for this I used….

I started in sections so the glue wouldn’t dry before I stuck the gems down…

Im actually really pleased with how it turned out especially for my first full on blinging out session lol. I did it over 2 night it probably took about 5 solid hours but I enjoyed it & I can’t wait to get blinging out some more things ASAP!

Have you done any DIY lately?

Bad Blogger is back….

Hey hey well i’m back I suck at blogging I apologise to anyone that cares Sorry! xxxx I kept meaning to write and then I just couldn’t be bothered (im lazy its a sickness) but now I’m ready to try again.

Righto not much has changed but 1st things first (like they’d ever be anywhere else?) I will introduce you all to my new best friend my Iphone 4s or my Ibaby as I prefer to call it.

Photobucket

Now don’t worry I’m not a crazy Apple geek this actually only my 2nd apple purchase the first being my Ipod nano way way back in college (around 3years ago im sooooo old :’(). I was never a fan of the Iphone 3 it was ugly, I liked the shape of the Iphone 4 but had just got a balckberry which I loved, so for 18months I’ve been a blackberry girl but it was time for an upgrade this month & I was rather bored of the BB as the camera is shocking & so is the screen resolution & it was old and slow, plus my bf had just upgraded to the Iphone 4 & I obvioulsy had to one up him & the Iphone 4s was the obvious choice (thats love right there). Nehoo enough phone babble I love it & that is the end of that & because I love it I want to spoil it and know the perfect way. A brand new phone case….

‘A phone case?’ I hear you ask? (cos I have super duper hearing abilities)

‘Yes’ I reply (cos obviously you have super duper hearing aswell)

I know what your thinking (cos I’m a mind reader with super hearing)

Photobucket

I think not! Now I’m sure some of you will have heard of them but for thse of you who haven’t I’m talking about a Lux Addiction phone case because man I love the bling & sparkles! I been watching reveiws on youtube like a mad stalker crazy person & I’m utterly convinced that I MUST have one NOW! But as the usually retail at $79.95/£50.62 I am far too poor to buy one Waaahhhh :’( but light oh holy light it’s my birthday in less than month (18th November for all you who want to send gifts :) ) my mother dearest says she’ll buy me one. Wooo worry over you may think, well think again they have 137 awesome styles to choose from & I am at a loss as which to purchase just to prove how difficult choosing is here are some of my favourites…..

The pictures are much clearer on the website but they are all handmade using swarovski crystals, they also do custom orders which is great. So does anyone own or has owned one of the cases let me know what you think as I LOVE them be back soon hopefully with some DIY bits and bobs :)

Kindle Krazy

Okie doke I have to talk to you about one of my absolute favourite possesions….My Kindle!

I read ALOT. My loft is full of books as I have absolutely no room in my bedroom for them all :( .

This little beauty is a life saver! I can dowload an almost unlimited amount of books(35,000). You can also download magazines, read blogs, surf the internet, listen to music & much more.

I have the Kindle with built in Wi-fi at £111 so as long as there is a open internet connection I can browse the kindle store & download books on the go although I mainly download them at home. You can also buy the Kindle 3g for £152.

Photobucket

Unfortunatly due to an unforseen accident (me sitting on it) I’m on my 2nd kindle :( but the people at amazon were very understanding & sent me a replacement within 3 days.  All my pre-downloaded books were easy to retreive to my new kindle. I am now much MUCH more carefull with it.

With books starting from £0.70 (& some free classics) you can find great reading material that won’t break the bank.

Due to the insane amount of choice they have, the kindle reading store can open you up to 1000s of different authors that you may never have encountered before. Such as my current favourites Jeff Lindsay the author of TV show Dexter. (find Dexter books here).

& also my current read Hollywood Warlock by Julie Kushner which is a really good book & was only 86p! (Btw Julie Kushner also writes for the blog Tv Recappers which is really funny)

You can also protect your kindle & make a fashion statment by adding skins or buying a case.

There are hundreds of different styles in every colour ranging from a cheap and cheerful £1.99 to designer cases at £70.

If you love to read & haven’t already got a kindle I really do reccomend them as they are fantastic & very easy to use.

I was sad to see my old one go though. It’s been my 2nd pride & joy (the 1st being my mini) over these past 4 years but it was definatly time to upgrade & this one is so pretty compared to my big old black one. Although I had done a spot of decorating by covering it in loads of sparkly stickers lol.

Anyway thats was my shopping spree for this month anyway which in total came to….

£539.43

Don’t worry I don’t normally buy laptops every month lol
